Big E’s replacement in The New Day has claimed that a lot of WWE veterans don’t help younger talent. The decorated faction has been a mainstay of the promotion for over a decade now and has worked with a multitude of talent.

At the end of last year, the group saw a major change as Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston kicked former WWE Champion Big E out of the faction to turn heel. In July, Grayson Waller aligned himself with them.

During an appearance on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet, Waller praised The New Day and how being with them is a dream. The Aussie star pointed out how they have helped him unlike other veterans in the locker room.

“Being a guy who was in a tag team for a long time, getting to work with them, it’s a dream. They’ve been through everything that’s ever happened. So I’m trying to learn all I can from them, because a lot of the vets in the locker room, they don’t want to hand back down, they want to protect their spot. New Day are great guys. And Big E can’t wrestle, so you get Big G,” he said.

Big E has been out of action since suffering a neck injury during a match on a March 2022 episode of SmackDown. While he hasn’t officially retired, an in-ring return seems difficult at this point.

In his absence, Grayson Waller has made the most of the opportunity and joined Kingston and Woods.

During the conversation, Grayson Waller said that The New Day is better than The Hardy Boyz.

He said the Hardys only fall off ladders and don’t impress him before adding that The New Day “would dog walk” them.

With The Hardys recently having a stint in WWE on NXT as part of TNA, there is a possibility that we might see the popular tag team square off against the heel stable in the future.
